    About The Wine

Zantho’s Pinot Noir is also referred to as Blauburgunder in Austria.

The grapes grow in Zantho vineyards around the villages of Andau and Jois which are characterized by dry, gritty and mineral soils. This Austrian region is called Seewinkel and is one of the hottest and driest regions in Austria, making it ideal for the Pinot Noir grape.

    Tasting Notes:

Zantho’s Pinot Noir color is a light red. The nose of the Zantho Pinot Noir has spicy aromas along with fresh woodland strawberries and sour cherries with a hint of cold smoke. On the palate, the wine is very elegant with incredibly deep fruit of woodland berries with deep spiciness. The wine is backed up with fine acidity and ends in a long and harmonious finish.

This wine has great cellar potential.

    Food Pairing:

Enjoy this wine with game, poultry and mild cheeses.
