    About The Wine

Welschriesling is a unique white grape and is common in Austria and many East European countries.

The grapes grow in Zantho vineyards around the villages of Andau and Jois which are characterized by dry, gritty and mineral soils. This Austrian region is called Seewinkel. It is one of the hottest and driest regions of Austria, offering ideal conditions for the Welschriesling grape.

    Tasting Notes:

The Welschriesling color is brilliant white-gold with green reflexions. In the nose, it seduces with fine aromas of fresh apples and citrus. On the palate the wine shows deep fruit paired with crisp acidity. This wine is pure fun and the ideal summer wine with low alcohol.

    Food Pairing:

Enjoy this wine with light salads, fish and as an aperitif.

Wine Enthusiast, July 2011. Score: 87/100.

Tasting Notes: This ultrafresh wine is in a very different style from Grüners of the Danube regions. It goes for the apply juice and lime flavors in a zingy texture.
